  1. We evaluate your book.
  2. To help support our programs we try to sell the book.
  3. As a last resort, we donate or recycle your book.

Cereal, crackers, toothpaste boxes; beverage containers, frozen food (Lean Cuisine, Hot Pockets) and waxy containers (orange juice)

We have a separate bin for milk jugs.

When the drop-off center is temporarily closed for service: follow the orange signs (or attendants) and place your recyclables in the bin provided.

How to recycle fluorescent lights and CFL's

  • Ingham County residents: take fluorescent lights and ballasts (removed from the fixture)  to the Ingham County's May-September Household Hazardous Waste Collection, Every Thursday 2-6pm. 
  • Home Depot: Drop them off at the service desk.
